Sophie Watkins
My Role: Operations
Before working at Wilsons, Sophie worked in many roles from court administration for the probation service to lifeguarding, land surveying and being sustainability researcher with one of her biggest accomplishments being conducting research and writing an impact evaluation for a Comic relief project to improve working conditions in Cameroon.
Sophie is motivated to continuously improve, push boundaries, and reach further potential - she likes a challenge! She also values being accountable for her work and always being honest.
Outside of work, she enjoys going on adventures and travelling to new places, particularly in the mountains, or somewhere in nature watching the sunrise/set. In the summer, she goes canoeing on the local river whilst in winter, she spends more time in the gym or swimming. January would be the month she would get rid of if she could because it is cold and there is not a lot of daylight hours left.
