Wilsons new website coming soon

We are really excited to announce that we are moving the Wilsons website to a new platform with a new look! This will happen on March 26th.

Rest assured, we’re working to make the transition as smooth as possible. The website address will remain the same. In the coming days, you’ll receive an email with all the details on what to expect when you log in to the new site for the first time. 

When the changeover happens you will need to RESET YOUR PASSWORD. Your username will be the same as it is now. We will send you a link prior to the new platform going live to do this.


Here are some questions we think you might have:

What do I need to do when the changeover happens?
You will simply be redirected to the new site and you will need to RESET YOUR PASSWORD. Your username will remain unchanged and will be the same one as you login with now.
Your new password must contain 8 characters and use 3 different types of: Lower Case, Upper Case, Numbers or Special Characters.

Why are you changing the site?
We want to bring you an even better way to shop, and an all-round better user experience. It is something that we have been working on for some time now and are really pleased to be able to launch it!

Do I need to do anything before the switchover?
No, not unless you have items in your basket that you would like to make a record of or complete your order. The basket items will not be automatically transferred over to the new platform. However we will have a record of your final basket on our existing site, call us if you need assistance with this.
It will only take a couple of minutes for you to reset your password, log back in and start shopping!

What will be the impact on My Account Area?
All your data will be migrated into your account area. If you have any questions or can’t find what you need, please contact us.

Will there be any planned downtime?
There will be a short period of downtime on Wednesday morning (times tbc). We will send out a communication closer to the time with more details.

How will I know I am on the right site?
This is the site (below) you will be greeted with when the switchover happens. Simply navigate to the Sign In/Register green circle icon at the top of your screen, and reset your password, or use the link that we will send you via email shortly before the switchover happens.
When you login, you will be taken straight to your 'My Account' area, please hit the Wilsons logo at the top to navigate to the homepage where you can find your way around.



Who do I contact if I need support?
We will be here to support you during our usual opening hours 8:30-4:30 and from 7.30am on Wednesday 26th March. Simply call us on 01206 861122 or send an email to sales@wilsonscolchester.com

Will I still be able to use the Quick Order form?
Yes, you can navigate to it by clicking the green 'Quick Order' circle icon at top of the website, and upload your items as per usual, onto the new form.

Will the payment and checkout process change?
The new site will take you through an easy checkout. We will be offering iwocaPay as a payment option for you, meaning you can cover the cost of your order over monthly instalments, more information can be found in the News section of the new site.

Will I still be able to view new products and offers?
Yes, simply navigate to the top bar where you can view by product category and your new and on offer products.

Can I expect teething issues?
The website has been tried and tested over a period of months, however if you experience any issues at all, please do contact us straight away if anything isn’t working for you.  If there is something that you previously used on the old website and you can’t find on the new website then please do get in touch with us.
